Support
Something broken, something wrong, or something you want gone? Write to hello@getrito.app and a person reads it. rito is run by Rob Teeuwen, so that address reaches the person who built the thing.
The usual things
I do not have an invite
rito is invite only. Every member arrives through somebody already here, with a code or by scanning their QR, so the way in is to ask someone who is already in. We cannot hand out codes from this page.
My sign in code has not arrived
Signing in sends a six digit code to your email. If it is not there, check your spam folder, make sure you used the same address you joined with, and ask for a fresh one: codes expire, and only the newest one works. If it still does not arrive, email us and say which address you tried.
I want to delete my account
Open the app, go to Profile, then Delete account. It happens immediately and it cannot be undone. Your email address, username, avatar and profile text go straight away; what stays afterwards, and how to have that removed too, is set out in the Privacy Policy. You can also email us and we will do it for you.
Someone posted something they should not have
Use Report on the check in, comment or profile. Reports come straight to us and we act on them, usually the same day. You can also block someone, which hides both of you from each other, and they are never told. If it is urgent, email us with enough detail to find the post: the shop, roughly when, and what it said.
A shop or a burrito is wrong
Wrong address, closed down, misspelled, or a burrito listed at a place that has never made one: email us with the shop name and what is wrong, and we will fix the listing.
A photo of mine needs to come down
Remove it from its check in and save, and the file is deleted as the save goes through. If the account is already gone, email us with the shop and roughly when you posted it, since we can no longer look it up by your name.
Privacy, data and legal
Requests to see, correct or delete your data go to the same address, and the Privacy Policy explains what we hold and how long. Copyright complaints and the designated agent are in the Terms of Service.
Where rito works
San Diego only for now, on iPhone. Shops outside the county will not be there yet, and that is coverage rather than a bug.
